I would like to make a feature request to implement a RFT command line option
that alows backward compatability of not using the MLST command when
communicating with odler GridFTP servers. The reason for this request is that
one of the Teragrid archival storage resources provides a GridFTP interface but
via a different implementation that does not currently support the MLST command.
Therefore, the use of the latest version RFT on TG resources using the default
environment does not allow for an RFT interface to the NCSA archival system. The
implementation of a RFT command line option would allow the user to use RFT to
transfer data to and from the NCSA archival system.
