Running "./grid-info-search" under the directory which   
has installed toolkit2.0 client,I got a list of   
meta-information.  
Howerver, when i did this under the directory which had  
java-cog0.9.13 installation,I got nothing.  
  
Who may explain it?

In case this error gets addressed it needs to be checked against 2.2 not 2.0

the -x option needs to be implemented: 
 
./grid-info-search -h dg0cm -b 
"Mds-Host-hn=dg0cm.mcs.anl.gov,Mds-Vo-name=local,o=grid" "(objectclass=*)" 
 
which should be equivalent t  grid-info-search -h dg0cm -x

Please get the latest version of grid-info-search from cvs. grid-info-search 
was completely reimplemented.
The -x option is now supported. Sasl security is on by default now.
