We need a better way to track our own local changes to the GPT we ship. We need
both a naming convention and a way to keep it in cvs untared.

Also, the newest globus_core should be included in it somehow.

GPT is now kept untarred in packaging/gpt

We still need to figure out what is the best way of including the latest
globus_core in it.

packaging/gpt is now in globus_4_0_branch as well.

The only thing left to do is makeing globus_core to be updated automatically.
This should not be a huge issue as the newer of the two globus_cores (one
included with gpt, and in the source-trees/) will be built.

This is pretty well taken care of now.
