Description From 2005-05-06 19:30:11
The rls server binaries nor source packages are included in the GT4 FC3 and RH9
bundles. They might possibly be missing from other binaries also.

Also the configure --help does not list any options to build RLS. Missing are
--enable-rls and --with-iodbc.

Also even though the client packages are included in the binaries they are not
installed for some reason..
------- Comment #1 From 2005-05-09 14:04:06 -------
In GT 4, RLS is only included in the source bundle. This is because of the
need to build/link against a particular iODBC package -- and their interfaces
don't appear to be 100% stable. At this point, it seems more practical to
provide a source package only.

Is this going to be a problem? a blocker?

Plan is for RLS to be included in binary bundles for the GT 4.0.1 release. It
will be built/linked agains IODBC 3.51.2 which seems to be the latest IODBC
that will work with MyODBC.
