Reported by Colin Stolley of Condor: > Also, it appears that in globus_gsi_credential.c, > globus_gsi_cred_read() fails if there is a host cert available, but > can't be read. Seems like the logic should be to try reading it, and > if it fails, move on to the user certs or user proxy? This only happens if X509_USER_CERT and X509_USER_KEY aren't defined in the environment. I thought that it would search the standard locations for certs and proxies without defining environment variables though?
Closing this, as we're not working on C GSI on Windows, just java. Univa's release plans for windows C GSI are unclear, but don't involve funding/effort from us.
