When compiled as system software, i.e. with --prefix=/usr, no special
environment variables (like GLOBUS_LOCATION) should be required to run the
software. The linked patch fixes this problem for the globus core package.

I made a tiny update to this patch (still at the same URL) due to a glitch I
discovered when building packages with inter-package documentation
dependencies.
