A implementation based on Net::OpenID::Consumer is on HEAD and in the latest 2.0 preview. It works with myopenid.com at least. Should verify it works with Google and then consider this bug closed.
OpenId is working, and the Net::OpenId module appears to support 1.1 and 2.0.
I still cannot get it to work with Google, but I'm not going to block 2.0 on
this, since it is not critical for the CILogon service. Instead I have opened
Bug 6900 to track the issue with using Google as an OpenId Idp and I am going
to mark this bug as resolved.
