<thetext>GridShib SAML Tools distributes an unknown version of cog-jglobus.jar (671139 bytes). JWS Core 4.0.8 distributes a version of cog-jglobus.jar (702602 bytes) claiming to be CoG JGlobus 1.2, but the latter is actually 705345 bytes as downloaded from the dev.globus wiki, so the version cog-jglobus distributed with JWS Core 4.0.8 is also unknown. JWS Core 4.2.0 distributes cog-jglobus-1.4.1.jar (733536 bytes) but the latter is apparently not downloadable from the dev.globus wiki, so the version can not be verified. Finally, JWS Core 4.2.1 is rumored to contain cog-jglobus-1.6.0.jar.

Test GridShib SAML Tools with all distributed versions of CoG JGlobus. Determine which of these versions should be distributed with GridShib SAML Tools.</thetext>

<thetext>See Bug 6435 for a pointer to the newest version of CoG JGlobus (cog-jglobus-1.6.3.jar). Presumably the latter will appear in GT4.0.9 so we should upgrade CoG JGlobus concurrently with the release of GS-ST v0.6.0.</thetext>
